Time flies!!

Vaya, me he pasado por mi propio blog para saber cuánto tiempo hacía desde mi última aportación y... ¡cáspitas! Va para dos meses... El tiempo vuela, sí, pero bueno es verano y se me perdona. Además, qué caray, escribo cuando me apetece, jajaja. En estos momentos sólo voy a escribir lo que se me está pasando por la cabeza (una de tantas cosas, en realidad), que es: la literatura medieval tiene su gracia así de vez en cuando y tal, un dato curioso, unos autores medianamente fundamentales (paradójica combinación), pequeñas ventanitas para asomarse a la época de las persecuciones religiosas en Inglaterra, a las herejías lolardas y los caciquismos ("cuentos de siempre", by History S.A.), la filosofía del momento (una de las grandes aportaciones de los mal llamados "años oscuros")... Sin embargo... I miss the beating and blatant modern history of the States, some of its daring authors and intelectuals, the constant, passionate relationships between the leading minds and the factual leaders (oh yeah, this is another kind of soap opera...), the literature of the melting pot and its common feeling for this kind of sacred, radically untouchable Americanism... Just a few days more, scarcely a month and I'll be free to get down to the real now, to the now of the current stream of thought, inevitably led by the U.S. which inevitably turn all the others' eyes to them, leaving them amazed and at the same time still considering whether that's the fair thing to do or whether the old yankees are on the top for any specific, unknown and ongoing reason. Alea jacta est.
