Literary Genres in the Bible

Just some hints on some (of the basic) literary genres within the Hebrew Bible (namely the Old Testament of the Christian Bible):

Historical Fiction can be found in Joseph in Genesis, Samson in Samuel or David in Samuel.

Lyric Poetry in the Psalms and the Song of Songs

Philosophical Poetry in the book of Job, and

Biblical Prophecy in Amos, Hosea, Isaiah and Jonah
