Alexei Ratmansky es coreógrafo y director artístico del Teatro Bolshoi, nacido en S. Petersburgo y forjado en la Academia Estatal de Coreografía de Moscú. Bailó para el Ballet de Kiev y fue bailarín principal y coreógrafo del Royal Danish Ballet, y trabajó también en el Royal Winnipeg Ballet de Canadá. Desde 2004, tiene en sus manos la gran tarea de devolver al Bolshoi sus raíces rusas más auténticas continuando con la representación de los clásicos, que por otra parte fueron -junto a la increíble capacidad de esfuerzo e implicación de los bailares y el equipo técnico y artístico- los que le dieron fama, pero también aportando nuevas estéticas o incluso recuperando algunos bailes de la época soviética. Además, la literatura también ha cautivado a Ratmansky, quien ha convertido a Anna Karenina en un nombre de bailarina. /----/Alexei Ratmansky, born in St. Petersburg and trained in the Moscow State Academy of Choreography, is now the coreographer and artistic director of the Bolshoi Theatre. He has danced for the Kiev Ballet and was the principal dancer and coreographer of the Royal Danish Ballet, having also worked for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet in Canada. Since year 2004 he's got in his hands the amazing task of returning the authentic Russian roots to the Bolshoi by going on with the performance of the classics, which actually were the ones that gave it the fame -together with the incredible capacity for effort and commitment of the dancers and the technical and artistic team-, though contributing with new aesthetics or even regaining some of the dances of the Soviet era, as well. Besides, literature has also been an inspiration for Ratmansky, who has turn Anna Karenina into a dancer's name /----/ Alexei Ratmansky, geboren in St. Petersburg und sich aufgebaut an der Moskauer Staatsakademie der Koreographie, ist jetzt der Koreographer und Kunstleiter des Bolshoi Theaters. Er tanzte am Kiever Ballet und war der Haupttänzer und Koreographer des Royal Danish Ballets, und hat auch fürs Royal Winnipeg Ballet in Kanada gearbeitet. Seit 2004 hat er die erstaunliche Aufgabe in seine Hände, dem Bolshoi die autentische russische Wurzeln wiederzugeben mit der Ausführung der Klassische, die übrigens ihm den Ruhm gegeben haben -zusammen mit dem unglaublichen Kraftaufwand und der Verpflichtung der Tänzern sowie des technischen und künstlerischen Team-, obwohl mitwirkend mit einer neuen Ästhetik oder sogar auch wiederkommend auf einigen Tanzen der Sowjeten Ära. Ausserdem war Literatur auch eine Erleuchtung für Ratmansky, der Anna Karenina in einem Tänzerinname verwandelt hat.
